SDCTA National City Special Parcel Tax Policy Paper

The San Diego County Taxpayers Association OPPOSES the National City Citizen’s Initiative.

The Association opposes this measure as it engages in ballot box budgeting, a dangerous practice for the provision of any public good or service.  The Association has additional concerns, however, regarding the apparent discriminatory tax structure without a clear analytical basis regarding the impact on the economy or property owners.
